Stamp Out Hunger – Letter Carriers’ Food Drive 2024

May 11 @ 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

‘Stamp Out Hunger’ Letter Carriers’ Food Drive – Saturday, May 11, 2024

Letter Carriers' food drive

For over 30 years, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) has conducted an annual nationwide food drive, collecting non-perishable food donations along postal routes. In Pierce County, EFN works closely with Union Branch 130 to collect more than 200,000 pounds of food for our neighbors in need in one day! Here’s how to participate:

1. Find your donation bag in the mail.

2. Fill it with nutritious nonperishable foods. Avoid expired or junk food items, and no glass jars, please.

3. Leave your donation at your mailbox on May 11. EFN, our volunteers, and Partner Programs do the rest!

Other Ways to Help:

• Volunteer with your local Post Office branch on the day of the event to help pick up food and unload it (contact volunteer@efoodnet.org to learn more).

• Remind the community about the food drive by posting about it on your company or church bulletin board, newsletter, or social media.

• Donate! If you would like to donate funds to EFN in support of this event, please visit our donation page.
