This union made up of librarians and library workers participated in our Adopt-a- Row program this season at EFN’s Mother Earth Farm! They helped maintain five rows of Red Russian Kale, by coming out to volunteer once each month from March through September. This group has kept their rows well weeded and fertilized. They harvested over 20 bins of kale over the season, which is around 300 pounds! The rows of produce this group helped seed, transplant, fertilize, and weed will produce an additional 2,000 pounds of food over this entire year.

This group has been a pleasure to work with from their excellent attitudes, their book recommendations, and great conversations. We are grateful for the dedication and commitment this group has made to growing food for our neighbors in need!
