Volunteer Group of the Quarter Heritage Bank

April – June 2018

We love our Heritage Bank volunteers! They have been volunteering with us since 2015, but have really made a commitment to the Repack Project over the past year. So far in 2018, Heritage Bank has participated in eight Repack Projects, and has repacked a total of 52,964 pounds of rice, beans, frozen peas, carrots, and canned goods from the Letter Carriers’ Food Drive! We are so thankful for each Heritage Bank employee that takes the time to scoop food for our neighbors, and for their leadership team for maintaining strong community values and promoting volunteerism!

“Heritage Bank believes in the possibilities for each and every person—and the power of community to improve the lives of those around us. We invest significant time and resources toward creating hope and opportunities in the areas we serve. Whether we’re sponsoring philanthropic events or repacking frozen peas with the Emergency Food Network, we’re always looking for ways to plug in and give back. Serving our neighbors is what we do. It’s what we’ve done for 90 years. And it’s as core to our company as our banking services. We know when neighbors help neighbors, the whole community benefits. And that’s true prosperity.”

Keep an eye out for food drives at Heritage Bank locations later this year!
