Repack Project

Volunteers repack fresh, frozen and dry bulk product – corn, peas, mixed vegetables, apples, pears, oats, noodles, etc. – into one and two pound family sized bags. These bags will then be distributed to those in need at Pierce County food banks.  What a fun way to help those in need!

EFN operates the Repack Wednesday-Saturday, and volunteers are needed for 3 hour shifts. Our shifts are from 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm.  If these times don’t work for your group, please contact us with the date and time you are interested in.  We strive to accommodate all volunteers and will try to coordinate special repack shifts.  To volunteer for the Repack Project, please call Stephanie Genton at (253) 584-1040 or e-mail stephanie@efoodnet.org. Volunteers must pre-register to volunteer.  Space is limited.

Did you know that each year, United Way of Pierce County partners with Pierce County schools to recognize and reward students for their volunteer efforts in the community?  For more information, please contact Bethany Opstedal at (253) 597-6685 or youthunited@uwpc.org or click “here” for more information.
