Looking for a meaningful way to take action and a great opportunity to get involved? Organize a food drive! Food drives and fund drives raise awareness of hunger in the community, collect food for people in need, and play an essential role in the fight against hunger. You can hold a drive at your child’s school, your family’s church, your place of employment, a grocery store, and a restaurant to name some options. It’s a great way to volunteer and make a difference in the community. Click here to download our Food and Fund Drive Coordinator’s Kit & Registration Form.
Did you know that each year, United Way of Pierce County partners with Pierce County schools to recognize and reward students for their volunteer efforts in the community? For more information, please contact Bethany Opstedal at (253) 597-6685 or youthunited@uwpc.org or click “here” for more information.
Please contact Stephanie Genton at 253-584-1040 or stephanie@efoodnet.org if you’d like more information or if you’d like to sign up to volunteer.
