Mother Earth Farm (AM Session) @ Emergency Food Network Mother Earth Farm
Jul 30 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

If this date or time doesn’t work with your schedule, you are welcome to register for an alternative date on any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Both morning and afternoon sessions are available for volunteers throughout summer! Just give us a call at (253) 584-1040 or email volunteer@efoodnet.org

Each year Emergency Food Network’s Mother Earth Farm grows close to 100,000 pounds of fresh fruit, vegetables, and honey for local food banks and meal sites. It would not be possible for us to provide this fresh food option to people in need without the help from volunteers. Volunteers at this 8-acre organic farm assist with soil cultivation, seeding, planting, weeding, irrigation, and harvesting.

No experience is needed! EFN staff will be on site to provide you with training and supervision. Gloves and tools will be provided. Bring a lunch and enjoy the picnic area! Families and youth groups of all all ages are welcome to volunteer at the farm (children ages 15 and under need to be accompanied by an adult).

To register, please contact volunteer@efoodnet.org or (253) 584-1040.
